Superb service department! My wife and I own two Genesis cars and recently brought the newest one in for it's first service. As Service Advisor, Tonya listened to my concerns and then kept me up-to-date on the progress - an absolute pleasure to work with. We've brought our older G80 here for service since 2021 and have not had any issues, in fact, the customer service seems to just get better.
Tonya and the service department deserve more stars than 5! When my car broke down on vacation in Indiana, Tonya has been going above and beyond to help me figure out how to get the car taken care of and get home even though the car was stuck at an out-of-state dealership. I would trust her more than anyone with my car maintenance! Her team has also always been polite and helpful when I’ve needed routine maintenance there.
I have used the service at Hyundai of New Bern for several years for my Genesis. and the most amazing thing is they keep getting better each time I visit. On my latest visit which was for a small recall procedure and an inspection, they offered a ride home instead of having to wait on a busy day for me. Approximately 2 hours I’m getting a text message saying my Uber driver will be picking me up in 10 minutes to return to the dealership. Wow, that’s service!

We brought our 2017 Tuscon in due to it started burning oil and it needed an engine replacement , Seth Downey in service was great and very considerate of our time , he made the whole process go very smoothly and they even washed the car for us , very happy.
I came in with two toddlers, expecting not to be able to make a decision with them there. Steve was so flexible, helped keep the kids busy, and took care of all the paperwork for me so I could just come back and sign on the dotted line the next day. Couldn’t have been easier!

I would always go to this dealership for service. But, I wish they had the staff to care for the waiting area a bit better. For an early morning appointment, there was limited coffee and no tea selection. There were no cups. The area is clean. I am alway amazed that I need to acutally find my vehicle in the parking lot after its service. Could they not keep them in one area? Ot could they not line the vehicle up after service as the customer does for service? It is a little item, but then again, should you not ...

I took my Santa Fe to Hyundai of NewBern for the first oil change and tire rotation. I did not purchase it from them but that didn’t matter they were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and the service was done in a very reasonable amount of time. I live in Morehead City and originally I was going to take my car to Jacksonville to be serviced, I’m so glad I choose NewBern. I will continue to have all my service work done there. Had a great experience now I own a 2017 ram Laramie thanks to Curtis he was by far the best cars sale man I’ve ever dealt with he was very honest, did his best to get me the deal I was looking for, had great stories, funny, and even recommended a pizza place which my wife and I tried after I got the truck which tasted amazing

Coming a far distance to purchase our daughter's 1st car, he was available to answer any concerns we may have had and to reassure us that any of our concerns would be addressed. I had my first appointment with the Service Department on May 22, 2024. I had called a couple of weeks in advance to make the appointment and spoke with Seth. I arrived on time and was immediately taken to the Service Department. Seth checked in my vehicle and I was told it would be about 45 minutes, as he was spot on with the time. My sales representative was Kaitlin. She was very professional and helpful with getting me into a new vehicle! There were days where my schedule was busy and she accommodated me by texting instead of talking over the phone. The whole process was very efficient and I was in and out with my new 2016 Tundra in less than 30 minutes on the day I picked it up!
I was in need of a State Inspection and I explained my situation that my husband was in the hospital and I needed to be "in and out". That's exactly what happened and I am very grateful. We originally leased our vehicle from Hyundai of New Bern and then purchased it and couldn't be more satisfied. It is always a pleasure to interact with the staff of both sales and service.

We were met and greeted by an associate at the waiting room entrance. He was polite, friendly, and pleasant. As I checked in, I heard they were running a bit slow because of DVM problems. Service on my suv started about 30 to 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. It was completed in about 45 minutes. The service desk informed me they performed a routine checkup and service and found nothing wrong. Another associate took my starter, telling me he would bring the SUV to the waiting room entrance. Steve was amazing!! He helped me get into the car I wanted without feeling pressured at all. He went above and beyond when my car ( bought used with no warranty ) had a small problem a few days after I bought it. He got me in with their service team and got it fixed for me for FREE!
Steve, Matt are 2 of the best. Were open and honest with me from the beginning. They asked me what I wanted, listened when I spoke. When there was a problem (wanted a different color on the interior) took the time to look for a different vehicle. The only reason I didn't purchase was that the interest rates are so high right now (I didn't know this last night when I left) that it would have put me way out of my wheelhouse on my monthly payments. The waiting and service area are clean and comfortable; coffee, snacks and waters make waiting a pleasant experience. The new service check-in lane is great: convenient, friendly and quick. Services performed were prompt, accurate and the staff was knowledgeable. Please move the smoking area further away from the door to the waiting area - every time the door opens, the room gets a blast of cigarette smoke from outside.

Best experience I’ve ever had with a car dealer. My wife and I stopped just to look at a new Santa Fe and when the salesman, Steve, came out to greet us we were pleasantly surprised with how friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, patient he was with us. Steve had an answer for all of our questions and was not the least bit pushy, only helpful. They were upfront about the whole process and after the purchase was done, even delivered the vehicle to my home. We couldn’t be happier.
We have bought our last 3 vehicles here and have always been impressed with the staff. The service department is the best. They make sure your visit is as comfortable as possible while waiting. They offer drinks, snacks and TV while you wait. The staff are professional and always pleasant and take the time to explain details of the service they provided, and take the time to answer any questions you may have and don't make you feel like they are trying to rush you out the door.

I had the best experience with the team at Hyundai of New Bern. They gave me straight answers without the pressure. Their customer service was top notch. I had been looking for three weeks and this was the first place I was comfortable taking a test drive. I was in and out in about 2.5 hours and they even delivered my car to my house. Steve was great at just making me comfortable through the whole process.
